If i see an animal suffering I will do what I can to help it. But I dont think I "owe" it anything. It just got trapped into existence the same way I did. I don't see that much difference between people & animals. Ppl can talk. Blah blah blah. Thats about it

It seems kind of arrogant to presume that you know what is best for others. But, whatever gives you a sense of "purpose" or "meaning". A lot of those animals have been existing on this planet a lot longer than your species has or ever will.

I cannot think of anything more arrogant than human beings. Meddling in other people's (or wildlife's) affairs & stirring up trouble because "it's for their own good" or "We want to help them". The self righteous, condescending fuckwits.

I already responded that when I see an animal suffering, I try to help it. I do the same for people, for that matter. But I don't feel like there's a "contract" or something that I owe them compelling me to do it. I do it out of pity, compassion.
