  My Dad was on the USS Guadalcanal near the French West African coast in May. 74 years ago, capturing a German Uboat (U-505), hauling it and its' crew to Bermuda. He never spoke of it. Mom told us the story after his death in '95. God bless those who gave their lives for us.
