    As Sears files for bankruptcy, I'm reminded of its fascinating history. From 1908–1940, you could mail-order a **house** from the Sears catalog. It would arrive by train (& truck for the last mile). You'd put it together yourself.

    Can someone point me to a definition of what is the minimum information gain to state a human has been “sequenced”. Generating 90GB of sequence data is one definition, but neglects long-reads, and/or improvements in analytics e.g. , work w/ imputation
