@TeamYouTube How do I talk to a person on the phone? My channel is getting hit with community guideline strikes and is now in danger of being shut down. This is how I make a living, and would appreciate the chance to fix this as soon as possible

While we currently don't have an option to support over phone, if you believe the strike is invalid, you can always appeal. Here's more info about Community Guidelines strikes and step-by-step instructions how to appeal: https://yt.be/help/qkY8 . Hope this helps.

I understand how to appeal, which I have. I understand the guidelines as well, but nobody can explain to me what the violation is. What I need is communication with someone in the same time zone or close, as this is very urgent for me

We're facing the same exact issue too. Whatever they changed in the system, it's flagging videos that have nothing to do with phishing scams or firearms. This is a total mess and

I honestly have no clue what I did wrong, and now I can't even upload videos

Us too. As well as stuff from my youtube channel ‘Harris Highlights’. And still no answer from them. By chance did you guys have anything to do with sports getting in your descriptions or talk about it in your videos at all? DraftKings, FanDuel, Bovada?

We operate a Steelers podcast so our focus is 100% football (sports) - We specifically worked with MyBookie at the time and had a link in the show notes. (I believe they are linked to or a competitor to Bovada)

That might be it right there. We talked about weekly CFB picks and linked Bovada. So I guess now Youtube is cracking down on all that kind of stuff, which makes no sense because all our videos are from a year ago. This must be something they just changed in the guidelines

If you search their Twitter thread here there's people also dealing with false copyright claims. They apparently added stuff to their bots and changed guidelines without notifying anyone - and they're retroactively enforcing new policies with little warning

We can't even access our creator studio because the appeal popup puts us in a loop that ends in a white screen no matter what browser or machine we view it on - yet another issue they're aware of but haven't fixed - can't even correct our own problems to meet their "guidelines"!
