While we don't have a dedicated team to speak to, we'd like to clarify this for you. When video is flagged or reported, it’s not automatically taken down. A flag means we'll review the video and only remove if it violates our Community Guidelines: https://yt.be/help/AeP5

Well what Happens in the event that the videos in question a year or two ago Didn't Violate Policy and now they do, over 50 or so videos, because of a new Rule? Do I have to lose my channel because of a Policy update?

I would like to know this answer too. You flagged a batch of our videos yesterday which constituted a "warning" and then flagged more this morning which now gave us a "strike" and week-long suspension for content that didn't violate the terms when published

That is Not fair for us to get a Channel Strike if videos were made a year or 2 ago and they were just fine. If anything just remove the videos or allow us too, or at the very very least, don't strike our channel. We didn't knowingly break any rules when the videos were published

Even worse, they cite this as a "community guideline" but it's nowhere to be found in their knowledge base, though you do get a snarky "Don't try to look for loopholes or try to lawyer your way around the guidelines" The link in the email sends us to "firearms" as the topic too

Yeah I saw that as well. I sent all of this information to my Network. I am not systematically Deleting all videos that have anything to do with Fan Duel.

The other issue is that going to https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/policies/#community-guidelines … doesn't state anything about gambling, sports betting, casinos, etc. You literally can't find the "policy" that was "violated" or why years later it's all of a sudden in violation "now"
