    Thankful for our staff and the work they do all year round and for taking the time today to show and I the new respite site. We will continue the city’s work to ensure our vulnerable have shelter when they need it and the support to transition into permanent housing

    Spending Christmas Eve touring Toronto’s new shelter & respite facility with Deputy Mayor Thompson. In 2019, we pledge to continue building a homeless model of care that has an entrance into a shelter, and a pathway out and into supportive housing.

    Today our City Staff & opened a much needed new temporary respite for the homeless. And, under the leadership of , neighbours from Liberty Village, Fort York & CityPlace were there to welcome new neighbours.
