    Prez sent us these 2 photos from where he was working in the grape vines yesterday in North East Pennsylvania. The windchill brought the weather to - 6°. They only worked for 4 hours it was so cold.

    Prez sent this vid from North East PA where he was pruining grapevines yesterday. He shared the temp was 20°F, but w/the wind chill & snow it felt like -7°. He works 8-9 hrs per day & the cold makes it hard to breathe. Only a few people are working because its so cold.

    It was 15° when Rafa shared this vid from WA where he works 8 hrs/day, 6 days/week pruning pear trees. He starts in the early am to shake the trees to remove the snow & begin to prune, climbing on frozen & slippery ladders. He's sad his work doesn't seem to be valued

    Artichokes taste yummy when they're boiled & the leaves are dipped in butter. But did you know how artichokes look in the fields? We got sent this pic from Salinas CA. To harvest this crop, workers go up & down the rows cutting these thick hard stems with a knife.
