except that time I got a pocket knife on my carry-on through security without them realizing (forgot i had it in bag)
only got caught when I was coming back from the US and they spotted it :p

did they make you toss it? My wife lost her childhood knife the same way

they actually let me keep it lol, which was weird, but was pretty young at the time
