I think the game is a perfect example of why going a cross-gen release is not necessarily the best. Feels like it ultimately hurt the game..

Those contrived loading sequences? Likely a by-product of having decided to ship on current-gen (they were originally doing next-gen only).
Whenever you see that in a game, it's always for memory reasons and unloading/loading levels. Willing to bet open world hub and missions...

Begs the question if they would have fared better critically and sales-wise had they focused on next-gen and not constrained by current-gen.
