Is this actually different from LT?
FYI #gameart, doesn't seem widely known, but there's a Maya Indie version that is only 265$/yr (versus the 1620$/yr or 205$/mo). Same features and all. Not sure why @autodesk doesn't advertise this as much.

Asked them but never had an answer. Wondering about the 100,000$ though. How can one freelance artist would know if the company he’s working for on a project is or is not over it ? Let’s say someone working for Dekogon... can we still use this indie version ? Not really clear...

It also a question among people that build and sell models. It just grey area since they dont know how the model be used. Does it cover the model shop (income) itself ? So grey...

They didn’t advertise them because they prefer the main software that give them load of money so... they’re hiding them as much as they can. I still remember that 3ds max version which it’s so inferior to the lite version that completely free... got removed in span of 2 years...
