CD Projekt pays OT, and a lot of companies in LA pay OT to intermediate positions (but that stops once you’re senior). So yeah, it varies from company to company.
(And not defending crunch, crunch sucks, just sayin’)
Curious in LA, Is OT calculated as an hourly rate directly as a percentage of your salary? Or a flat OT payment? Or a crunch bonus? Poland seems to have far more stringent laws than most, so I am pretty sure CDPR does indeed pay OT salary.
Afaik, they have it set up as Intermediates sign on with a regular annual salary that assumes 40hr/week, but hours paid are logged and paid hourly so all OT hours are counted that way. So all comes on regular paycheck. Plus benefits, bonuses and all that.
