    We measured microclimates for a year (>500k records), tested heliconius thermal tolerance in the wild across altitudes and reared them in common garden. A huge effort with great help! ☀️🦋🐛🌡

    Our new paper on Lake Mweru cichlid fishes was just published! We show that hybridization explains why Lake Mweru harbours multiple adaptive radiations with over 40 species, whereas nearby L Bangweulu contains no new species despite ecological opportunity.
