I encourage actually reading the article. 1) There is no historical precedent for a Dem assured of nomination moving left ahead of the general. 2) Polling suggests activists still have leverage to keep fossil fuel money and representatives out of the administration.

Talk's cheap, especially from Biden. If he chooses a progressive VP over a cop I'll entertain the microscopically slim possibility this half-a-Green-New-Deal is anything more than an empty campaign promise.
