Jason, I'm interested in how you think TL or D6 has changed since our new DA took office. The majority of crime in the city has gone down, though I'd attribute that to the pandemic more than anything else.

Property and Violent crime has gone down in San Francisco. It's still happening too frequently, but it's happening less frequently. https://sfgov.org/scorecards/public-safety/violent-crime-rate-and-property-crime-rate …pic.twitter.com/S2qLIYQcDV

This is attributed to people reporting less. Many persons don’t report the crimes because of the lack of confidence in

That’s pure speculation. And I doubt it’s true. But this is the data we have.

Speculation? Where do u live? What part of the city? If you have all the answers then why are you asking? Our DA is useless and doesn’t care about SF. He is more interested in criminalizing police and protecting criminals. Do you think that there is less crime by clearing jails?

There's no data showing that people are refraining from reporting crimes because of Chesa Boudin. There is data snowing that crime has dropped. IMHO, that's related to the pandemic, rather than the policies of the DA. But like you, I don't have data showing attribution.

It's not my data. It's the city's data.

Sad to think that we can’t trust the reporting by our own city. A system built on the trust of the people is in the wrong hands. The leader of @SFDAOffice is more concerned with making things fit in his narrow little window than doing what is right. NO to drugs! Law and order.
