Along with Mayor Breed, our office is going to lead the effort on redirecting funding from the police department to the African American community. This is a concrete, bold and immediate step towards true reparations for Black people. I’m excited to lead on this with Mayor Breed!

F. The last time I was in the city before all of this lockdown stuff happened. I was in the Safeway by the giants stadium and the security guards in that store had to try and box out, like in basketball, someone who is shoplifting a ton of stuff

And the lady doing the shoplifting was screaming at the top of her lungs “I have less than $900 worth of merchandise, this isn’t a crime” it was horrifying dude. What has happened to that great city? I walked from that Safeway to the Starbucks down the street

And there was a guy just outside the little metal partitions that create an area for Starbucks customers to drink their coffee, there was a guy just outside of that area taking a shit on the sidewalk. This is really the future that San Franciscans want? Unbelievable
