  Man, that's great, Justin! Glad to see I'm not alone, haha I used to run more tabs than I do now back when pages didn't run so much client side script. I found using blockers such as uBlock Origin can substantially reduce the CPU footprint of each tab. Hope this helps, too =)

  You may have inadvertently hit Ctrl-shift-Q, which instantly closes Chrome without warning. Easily hit when doing Ctrl-Shift-Tab, but @googlechrome @googledevs refuse to even provide an option to disable it, even when it's clearly far more trouble than it is worth.
