That check-in “proud of you” goes way far 
An old friend who watched my career the past 10 years sent a note that said "I'm really proud of you." She saw me join a startup that struggled in 2011. She saw me try to launch my own startup & fail in 2014. The road looks easy on Twitter, but it's not. Meant the world to me.

Love the Sunday morning Twitter vibes. Proud of you too. I remember renting a desk from you when you has 1 employee (yourself) and a tiny office. Now you have a big company. That place was a shoebox but it was the best of times.

How did you get to your role at tinder after struggling like that?

I built a bunch of products and a 3 of them were #1 on Product Hunt in a few months. Also learned web development at a full time bootcamp.

You have an ability to connect and communicate the positives without dwelling on the negative. My guess is that it can be misconstrued as “easy” when those of us close to you know how hard you’ve worked for everything you’ve accomplished. Keep it up,
