    Dear school leaders, In 11 years as chief exec of I haven't tried to speak for every governing board of England's state schools at once but now is the time: your governors & trustees are saying go home & have a break. You do not have to solve this public health crisis

    NGA has joined unions and associations in issuing a joint statement to members, advising secondary schools and colleges that they are not required to begin mass Covid testing from the start of the spring term if they are not able to implement these plans.
