Some of you are under the impression that the end of this fight against the new fascist right ended when we elected President Biden. Do yourself a favor: Go to your bathroom, look straight into the mirror, and slap that fucking delusion out of your head.

Explaining the first amendment to the ACLU was not on my 2023 bingo card.

This is the right call. Like it or not, President Trump is one of the country’s leading political figures and the public has a strong interest in hearing his speech. twitter.com/nytimes/status…
All I’m saying is you can either have a show called “MILF Manor” or a network called “The Learning Channel” but you can’t have fucking both.

I mean, even a one legged, brain damaged, rabid kangaroo could have taken over Twitter and not brought it to the verge of bankruptcy in two weeks. Genius my ass.
Basically, stoping being fascist assholes and we *might* stop treating you like fascist assholes.

A few immediate suggestions for Rs wanting to correct course: —Do not seat MTG to committees. —Support the J6 Committee. —Quit the election denialism. —Stop going to CPAC & TPUSA events. —Quit saying you’ll vote for Trump if he’s the nominee. —Ditch the NatCon Orbanists.

If the press is sulking this morning about their over investment in the historical trends of midterms, might I suggest they refocus on the historical trends in the rise of fascism? Seems like a win-win for everybody.

To all the young voters: Thank you for showing up. You’re the reason we’ve still got a fighting chance. Please remember things won’t miraculously get better overnight. But you’ve now seen your power: Do this every two years and within a generation they will.

You’re not voting for a candidate today. You’re voting for whether you’ll ever get to vote for a candidate again in your lifetime.

The most sincere form of parody is that which isn’t required to identify itself as parody. A “free speech absolutist” would understands this. A virtue and emotionally stunted tech bro would not.

We keep fucking telling you who these fucking people are and you will keep fucking ignoring it until it’s too fucking late. 👇

Every person involved in this needs to be outed and their livelihoods severely impacted. Oh, and remember a time when the far right cried a river about being called Nazis? They’re proving that label correct every single day. twitter.com/DWUhlfelderLaw…

I’ve a degree in physics, voraciously studied western philosophy, and worked in tech for the past 25 years. And while I’m intimately familiar with critiques of democracy, there’s one thing I can promise you: tech bros are the last people you want modifying the social contract.

I've been talking about this guy for months. He describes himself as the "sith lord" of the right and calls democracy obsolete. He favors a theocratic monarchy instead. FYI he advises candidates - like Blake Masters and JD Vance - that share his beliefs. vox.com/policy-and-pol

Dear feminine hygiene companies, I’m a fairly smart man who’s been married 23 years so you can believe me when I say that you really need to put a goddamned unique large print part number on your packaging for each combination of size, length, wings, etc.

It’s been days since the unambiguous leader of the GOP suggested Jews should watch out if they don’t ante up more cash and not a single condemnation from republicans nor a single question about it posed to them from journalists.
I’ve no problem with reporters/journalists asking people if they’re concerned about inflation, but when they don’t lift a goddamned finger to ask those leaning Republican just what exactly the GOP plan is to deal with it, I know they’re hacks.

Voting every presidential election but not voting in midterms is like hitting the gym hard every day for 2 hours and then eating ice cream with every meal and wondering why you’re not seeing results. 🍦

I mean, on the one hand I can understand the argument that corporal punishment doesn’t lead to long-term developmental issues in children and on the other hand I’m watching fascists take over the country with a third of adults cheering them on.
I don’t know what’s more concerning - the volume of people who know damn well what defamation is and are purposely acting obtuse or the volume of people who are just plain ignoramuses about the whole issue.
These are the people you’re empowering to directly impact almost every aspect of your life when you don’t vote.

This will blow your mind. New Hampshire’s Republican Senate candidate Don Bolduc says abortion decisions “belong” to Republican “gentlemen” state representatives, and that “as a man”, women “get the best voice” when men decide how to regulate their rights.

So part of me thinks we should first understand the context of posing in front of Hitler’s car before jumping to conclusions and the other part of me thinks WHAT FUCKING CONTEXT WOULD BE LEGITIMATE TO POSE IN FRONT OF HITLER’S CAR?!?

Dr. Oz and Nevada Senate nominee Adam Laxalt just held a $5,000/plate fundraiser in California staged right in front of Adolf Hitler’s car which featured a swastika. But yes, how dare Biden call Republicans “semi-fascist.”

It really can’t be any simpler.

Real talk for younger voters. Biden delivered on two major policies I never thought I’d see: Student loan forgiveness and marijuana pardons. If you don’t vote in midterms, you’ll be telling every politician in America passing policies younger voters care about doesn’t matter.

LAPD officer Houston Tipping died after a training exercise during which he was beaten & slammed to the ground by other cops. Now his lawyer says at the time he died he was investigating a gang rape by 4 cops, at least one of whom was part of the exercise.

The miss manners’esque scolding by twitter every time you tweet using any variation of the f-word while simultaneously witnessing fascists salutes by the Republican Party at rallies is the sort of juxtaposition not a single teacher prepared me for in high-school history class.
