So my memory was correct: AE stopped tree trimming because of "citizen pushback". Now these same "citizens" are pointing fingers at everyone else. Not that AE is blameless, but come on. We've become a city with way too many NIMBYs, smdh. Especially at city hall.

As a gay man, I was so excited that my city appointed an LGBTQ+ city manager. But he has disappointed on many fronts: refusal to discipline a police chief that lets ATXPOA run unchecked; water quality issues as well as these multiple AE problems. Plus an out of touch mayor.

I'm still amazed that Texas participates in ADAP at all. Albeit at the mimimum level. But there are 17 or so states that don't. And the Feds pick up 90% of the costs.

Thanks. I really wish saw candidate recruiting as an important party function, but it doesn't. Right now no credible hopeful has filed to run against Cruz next year. So I joined Blue Texas since giving to the state party has become a futile gesture.
