    Gonzalez said he could have survived his primary against a flawed opponent But he realized as this year went on, he didn't want to come back a Trumpy caucus "You can fight your butt off and win this thing but are you really going to be happy? And the answer is probably not"

    Gonzalez was a prized recruit in '18: a Cuban-American who starred at WR for OSU, got drafted in first round & then got a Stanford MBA. But he was appalled by the House GOP bowing to Trump on certification & his "bright line" was Jan 6th. Now he's retiring. He turns 37 Sat.
