So, real talk, are you just grepping for `^[a-zA-Z0-9]+ : .*$` ? :D

I think there's nothing wrong with the grep approach! :) It does the job well, can't think of any false positives due to Elm syntax. It won't show definitions that don't have explicit type signatures though...
-
Yeah, pretty much why went for it. Couldn't think of false positives. Thanks for the comforting thoughts <3. Good point regarding the signature. The main final objective is to create something à la hoogle. In a long, distant future :)
-
@klaftertief might have some thoughts regarding hoogle-like functionality, given that he's done the Fancy Search? :) http://klaftertief.github.io/elm-search/ -
Yes, I have some ideas about improving the search and bringing it to text editors. I’m on holidays right now, but happy to chat asynchronously. There is a
#hoogle channel in the Elm Slack. -
Awesome, thanks guys! Am I correct to assume elm-search is written in
#elm at the moment? I'd love to know what you mean by bringing it to text-editors :) -
Oh, and enjoy your holidays of course!
