Building a small extension for @code that lets you see all the signatures of your #elm functions in real-time so you can easily remember what to use. First draft wrote this week-end. Now gotta make it useful :) #elmlang #typescriptpic.twitter.com/3dI96Vd6qF

So, real talk, are you just grepping for `^[a-zA-Z0-9]+ : .*$` ? :D

Who told you that ?😬. #shame #shame #shame. More seriously, I went for the shortest path I could think of. Once I have filtering working, I was planning to look into an actual elm parser. Just trying to help myself at the moment :).

I think there's nothing wrong with the grep approach! :) It does the job well, can't think of any false positives due to Elm syntax. It won't show definitions that don't have explicit type signatures though...

Yeah, pretty much why went for it. Couldn't think of false positives. Thanks for the comforting thoughts <3. Good point regarding the signature. The main final objective is to create something à la hoogle. In a long, distant future :)

@klaftertief might have some thoughts regarding hoogle-like functionality, given that he's done the Fancy Search? :) http://klaftertief.github.io/elm-search/

Yes, I have some ideas about improving the search and bringing it to text editors. I’m on holidays right now, but happy to chat asynchronously. There is a #hoogle channel in the Elm Slack.

Awesome, thanks guys! Am I correct to assume elm-search is written in #elm at the moment? I'd love to know what you mean by bringing it to text-editors :)
