Florida SRO was "dry firing" handgun in his office when gun fired Monday afternoon. Bullet went through the office wall, across the school hallway at shoulder level, through a classroom wall, and lodged in a bookcase.
Students were inside the classroom when the shot was fired.

This apparently started because the kid said he wasn't feeling well and didn't want to play kickball. It ended with a school cop pepper spraying him, pulling him to the ground by his hair, and arresting him. Kid's now facing multiple charges.

As I see it, its one in the same. The fact that 19 armed, trained officers waited outside a classroom while kids were slaughtered inside shows how hollow the “good guy with a gun” myth is. I cannot believe Ted Cruz, Trump, etc, are still invoking that myth after the last week.
