So, it’s partly lazy, but it’s also I think partly them trying to protect their ass, because if they have one unhappy customer who reports them it’s all downhill from there

Wait really?

Yeah you have to be licensed to wash or blow dry hair. In a lot of states you can be a braider without being licensed

It is but the flat ironing for braids thing is always wild to me

Somebody just told me the girl is 16, so actually none of this is surprising at all. But flat ironing to get your hair braided doesn’t really make sense to me

I actually don't have an issue with coming washed and blow dried. I thought that was the norm when getting your hair braided for the most part (especially the clean hair). NOW where I draw the line is bone straight hair. If you cannot braid "naps" you cannot braid FULL STOP!

My sisters was an at home braider and she had to start requesting people come with blow out bc ppl used to sit down with dirty and super tangled hair knowing full and well she can't wash their hair. Ppl get mad at these list but blame crazy ppl for ruining it for everyone
