Trump promised Mexico would pay for a wall after calling them rapists. That was his promise. He gets no U.S. tax money for any wall.

Over the last few years, We all know what we've heard, seen, and experienced concerning Trump's wall promises. Republicans can take all their gaslighting about Trump's wall promises, their moving of goal posts, changing definition, etc. and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

Over and over, working people have shown that when they have power and organize, our society changes for the better. When workers’ right to band together for the wages and benefits they’ve earned is under attack, we must stand up and fight back.

Attention Senator McConnell: It is time to re-open the government. The House just passed funding bills the Senate already supported. Hundreds of thousands of workers are going without pay. It is time to put country over loyalty to Trump. It is time to show leadership.

For I can assure you that we love our country, not for what it was, though it has always been great - not for what it is, though of this we are deeply proud - but for what it someday can, and, through the efforts of us all, someday will be.

My first priority in the new Congress was to re-introduce the LIFT Act — a real tax cut for the middle class. When more than four in ten adults say they don’t have enough to cover a $400 emergency expense, Congress must act. No one should struggle just to get by.
