    Quick tip for job hunters. Your prospective employers will check if you've done your homework. I've done a few interviews in the last week where it was clear the person didn't know anything about . The interviews (nicely) stopped right there. If you want it, show it! 😀

    🧵 Before the alumni role, I had been manager of professional development in the same global firm so many of the laid-off attorneys had been associates I had on-boarded, taken through orientation, designed mentoring programs for, etc. etc. etc. 🧵 continues

    🧵 So, back in 2008 I was in legal marketing, building out a global law firm's alumni program and yeah, Lehman Bros + financial collapse, and suddenly a whole lot more alumni 🧵 continues ('cause clearly I have to talk about this)

    law firm layoffs...feeling very 2008 right now + a reminder to build your network before you need it folks.
