      Hey, these change are for new/pending applications. The channels which are already monetized will not be impacted with the new update. Hope that helps clarify!

      To be fair to the shitheads at YouTube that came up with this they did put the qualifier in that same tweet thread saying that existing channels have until Feb 20th to reach the threshold. The accurate information is in that thread. Just not that tweet
