As usual, a must-read from Rex (and yes, someone in West Vancouver actually spent $2,000 on a cat-door, supposedly to fight climate change).

Agreed. Great to see Albertans stepping up to have their voices heard. These are the same 'severely normal Albertans' that are normally too busy working & living their lives (legitimately so) to attend protests. But the stakes are so high that silence is no longer an option.

"Dec. ended on a sour note with significant job losses for the Alberta job market. Nearly 17,000 jobs were lost last month according to Statscan...a loss of 36,000 full-time positions." Time to renew the Alberta Advantage and reignite our economy.

Comments from one Albertan on news that 36,000 full-time jobs were lost last month. Sadly we hear heart-breaking stories like this far too often. Job number one for a UCP Government this spring will be reigniting our economy after 4 years of mismanagement and neglect by the NDP.

This isn't about electioneering. This is about saving Albertans' jobs. Unfortunately it seems as though Justin Trudeau is content to see the project stalled - at least until after the fall 2019 federal election. The Notley NDP-Trudeau Liberal alliance has failed Albertans.

Encourage all to read this one from . Could have some major implications not just for Calgary, but for our entire province.

Interesting addition: Alberta's working-age population increased by 50,000 last year. But employment is only up by 22,000 over same 12 month period. We're not even keeping pace with population growth. Hardly something to boast about.

Alberta lost over 36,000 full-time jobs in December (according to Statscan). Yet the NDP keeps boasting of its economic 'recovery.' Albertans know our province can do so much better.

Relieved to hear this was a minor incident. Industry & government goes to great lengths to make rail as safe as possible. But this is also an important reminder on why we need new pipelines (the safest shipping method). Credit to George Clark & for updating.

Reminder: this is a Harper-era tax cut, legislated in Budget 2015. Trudeau tried to cancel it in his first budget, in 2016, and had to reverse course in the face of backlash from small biz objecting to being called "tax cheats." It takes some nerve now to assume credit for it!

How insulting is this? The NDP is using your money to run ads claiming their carbon tax on energy is *saving* you money!

‘Scheer says Trudeau will hike carbon tax if Liberals win 2019 election.’ is 100% correct. Liberals’ own internal docs admit as much. Re-elected Trudeau Liberals (& Alberta NDP) means more expensive pump prices, home heating - even groceries.

“Notley rolled the dice on Trudeau and lost.” Unfortunately, everyday Albertans are the big losers in the Premier’s failed alliance with Justin Trudeau.
