Probably Roombas will be the footsoldiers of the great robot uprising because they’re so cute no one will ever suspect them until it’s too late

youth voter turnout last night was disappointing. it would be cool if our leaders and political analysts treated it like a crisis to fix, and not something to be smug about

Bernie Sanders is winning more than 40% of Latino Democrats in Texas, according to exit polls. In 2016, he won just 29%. He is performing particularly strongly among young Latino Democrats there between ages 18 and 29 — with 64% support.

There are a lot of beautiful and emotionally charged videos for circulating and they all give me goosebumps. But this one here I find it to be particularly sublime

The biggest loser tonight remains America’s political pundit class that continues to either deliberately ignore the lessons of 2016 or is so blinded by bias they refuse to entertain the notion they’re out of touch with the voting polity they purportedly speak & know so much about

  10. I am so offended by candidates & pundits who try to paint supporters as offensive. That erases the vast majority of us—many women & folks of color—who support Sanders and are inspired by the loving, generous movement we are building. Stop attacking US.

Why NBC News is *not* declaring a winner even though the Iowa Dem Party is reporting 100% of the vote: “There are definitely some inaccuracies in the data,” the head of our Decision Desk says.

I'm suspicious of the Nate Silvers & the Max Boots in our media. Could be they're trying a new tact: Over-estimate Bernie's chances so that they can later say, "well, he didn't meet expectations, so this must mean he's in decline." It's about trying to demoralize Bernie's base.

  13. This is an absolute disgrace. We should not be supporting coups abroad. San Francisco DOES NOT support U.S imperialism abroad. We need someone in DC who reflects our values. I am that person. Support me and we can for the people.

  14. We won in Iowa because of the unprecedented grassroots effort of our campaign. Thousands of volunteers knocked on hundreds of thousands of doors in the cold and snow. I want to thank each and every volunteer who participated in that effort.

Bernie was at his most Larry David tonight when he went back and forth with Warren on whether her statement that she was the only one on stage who’d defeated an incumbent Republican in 30 years was technically correct, since he did in 1990 (presumably post-Jan)🧐😂😘❤️

I am introducing a bill with Rep. Khanna to stop Donald Trump from illegally taking us to war against Iran. It's working-class kids who will have to fight and die in a disastrous new Middle East conflict—not the children of billionaires.
