It's astonishing. Predators will go to any lengths to gain access to women and children. They will train for years to become teachers, priests, doctors, police, social workers etc. Signing a piece of paper would be no hurdle.

Thank you so much for continuing to “make noise” about this, Jo and Shona! I live in the US and so many predators have already used the loosening laws to prey upon women and children. It sickens my soul.

There is self ID in my city (Melbourne, Australia) Men are self identifying in to female sexual assault recovery services. Say no and they take you to the Human Rights Tribunal. Women self exclude.
Groups implode.
No more services for our most vulnerable women.

This is the inevitable result. How people don't see this is beyond me. Second wave feminist fought for these services and now some women are happily giving them up. They won't know what they had til it's gone and are in need themselves. As always the most vulnerable suffer most.
