If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.

I respect every trans person’s right to live any way that feels authentic and comfortable to them. I’d march with you if you were discriminated against on the basis of being trans. At the same time, my life has been shaped by being female. I do not believe it’s hateful to say so.

As a mum to a very vulnerable teenage trans boy your opinion breaks my heart. Trans rights do not undermine feminism (I'm a proud feminist, so is my mum). Discrimination and abuse is wrong, regardless of gender. Public hatred like your tweet puts my son's life in danger. Please

This isn't anti trans. It's recognising the validity of being cis. We've spent so long focusing on trans people we've allowed our biological genders as cis people to be eliminated. We're told gender is a concept. I know I am female. It's invalidating to say I'm not.
