The greatness of a man or woman is not in how much wealth or fame they acquire, it’s in their ability to affect positive change in others. We should all be striving for that.

Do something you fear every day. We have to keep raising the bar in life.

If today was your last day on earth would you spend it talking about people who did you wrong or trying to enjoy every second. Barring suicide none of us know when we will die - treat today and every day like it’s your last - then watch how much sh*t you get done.

Reaching out to others who in turn help those in their circle is how collective change happens. I asked my teachers how I could pay them back. Their reply... “Just pay it forward.” - Always lend a hand, maybe even a few kind words to those is need. It’s good karma.

With everybody having to walk on eggshells and be politically correct if the Notorious Biggie Smalls was alive he would get put on blast all over social media for using the line... “Love you like a ‘FAT’ kid loves cake” claiming he was fat shaming even though he was a big dude.

Many people take shelter of prayer and meditation when times are rough. The thing is to do that when everything is going well. I’m guilty of being a fair weathered friend to the internal journey myself. I’m working on it though.

I’ve made bad decisions but I don’t beat myself up over it. Instead I recognize how i could have done things differently and I keep fighting. Bad shit never goes away, it lies dormant ready to sink daggers in moments of weakness. Mindset is our coat of armor. Stay strong.

Seeing things through to the end is a mindset. The problem in this microwave insta-gratification world is people want immediate success. Things of real value don’t come that way. That’s why we need to love the act itself. Then we will never quit.

In 1998 I was 205 lbs. I race at 165 - that’s 40 lbs overweight because of a back injury and a relationship with a negative person. I dealt with both by overeating. Took it one day at a time. Ended the relationship cleaned up my diet and trained my ass off. Anyone can do it too!
