It is not widely used. In fact it was officially used in 2020 for a month or so and then banned from the health ministry early treatment kits. But in the last weeks there is one tv channel promoting its use.

Peru now drastically revised the covid death tolls. As the graph above uses excess deaths, that shouldn't be affected, right? Did you use official covid deaths anywhere in the state-by-state analysis, and do things change with the revised toll?
