1/2 I am from India, Kerala The real issue is that, even though ICMR Guidelines recommend Ivermectin, most doctors are not prescribing it in the early stages. the chance of getting IVM Rx less if your dr is a consultant or specialist. in Kerala, the early drug is less than 25%.

2/2 in many states, governments ask people to take IVM without prescription. This way, they bypass the doctors. Some states distribute it through testing centers. The presence of a drug in the guideline doesn't mean that it is used by all. Kerala is nearly full of Covid now.
