    platforms are very comfortable defining spam, or bad-faith activity *as it directly relates to their platform.* the one party you can never abuse on a platform is the platform itself. those rules are treated as self-evident

    During a recent breaking news story, a Twitter manager suggested journalists were making things worse by calling out accounts spreading misinformation. Now Jack says it’s critical work. Good. So can we get more info from your team when we ask Qs abt accounts? And firehose access?

    Accounts like Jones' can often sensationalize issues and spread unsubstantiated rumors, so it’s critical journalists document, validate, and refute such information directly so people can form their own opinions. This is what serves the public conversation best.
