So sorry chef. I
your restaurant & wish we could do more to support businesses like yours. What I cannot do is jail people because of their addiction or double down on the failed war on drugs. We need to make it easier to get help than it is to get high in SF.

A good citizen - one who owns a small business, pays taxes, & contributes to SF's vibrant culture - shared that she no longer feels safe at home, work, or in between bc of the unavoidable addicts & criminals.
@chesaboudin gave a nonresponse & you praised him for his compassion..2 replies 0 retweets 3 likes -

I don't claim to have THE solution, but as far as I'm concerned - excusing destructive behavior that is called out by GOOD citizens isn't it... We're tired of the piles of needles, trash, and feces. No one called for arresting those with addiction - we want dealers dealt with...

Are you mocking me for wanting anything to be done to the drug dealers we all see every day? They prey on the most vulnerable population in our society for profit... As far as I'm concerned that's as low as low goes. They're not even worth the tax dollars to keep them locked up.

"such discourse" While I'm trying to find common ground with you upon which we can discuss beginnings of a solution, you're mocking my desire to not deal with meth addicts and dealers on a daily basis... So I'll spend my time being productive elsewhere - good chat!
