Giving Rush Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom is one of the most disgusting this I’ve ever heard. Who’s next... Jeffrey Epstein for his humanitarian work with runaway teens?

There are 2 woman candidates in the top 5. Just want to remind our media which seems content on erasing them.

I sat silently across the chamber, listening to my friend give one of the most important speeches I have ever had the good fortune to hear in person. At a time when many wonder what honor is left in public life, there stands Mitt Romney.

If you're angry at the Republican senators who voted for a cover-up of the president's corruption, join —an partner—to hold them accountable for enabling Donald Trump.

Today is a shameful day for the US Senate, a somber day for the US Constitution, & a sad day for the United States of America. But I hope – deeply hope – people won’t give up. We fight for a government that works for everyone – not just the rich, the powerful, & the corrupt.

As the president's impeachment trial began, Republican senators pledged an oath to defend the Constitution. Today, 52 of them voted to betray that oath—and all of us. We’re entering dangerous territory for our democracy. It’ll take all of us working together to restore it.

The 48 Senators who found Trump GUILTY represent 18 million MORE people than the 52 who voted not guilty.

This is going to keep happening. The truth will come out, piece by piece. Every time it does, the White House and every Senator who voted against witnesses and evidence should be asked: “Why did you try to hide this?”

Dear , I have written many unflattering things about you over the years, esp during the '12 prez campaign. But your speech announcing your vote to convict Pres. Trump was the most important, moving and patriotic of your life. History will honor you. America thanks you.

You know what Mitt just said on the Senate floor? It’s what his Republican colleagues say at night when the cameras are turned off. I’m looking at you, Lindsey.

Regardless of your politics, you must admit that this vote by Senator is a profile in courage. Pleased to see Mitt Romney honor our Constitution, the rule of law, and the truth.

Rush Limbaugh called a Georgetown student a "slut" and a "prostitute" because she advocated for the insurance coverage of birth control. Trump just gave him the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

If I understand this correctly, the president awarded the medal of freedom to a talk radio host with a revoltingly long record of bigotry during the State of the Union — and the civility police are coming for Nancy Pelosi for tearing up paper? Is that right?

If you are more outraged about someone tearing up a speech than you are by someone tearing up the truth, the constitutional checks and balances and moral democratic values then you need to drink a gallon of perspective and start over.

It’s an unforced error for this usually respected & disciplined journalist to start calling balls & strikes. Compare this with how he reported (here on Twitter) the Medal of Freedom — all just observable facts. Here — straight-up opinion. Has he always had a bias against Pelosi?

Our media is determined to be this mediocre going forth. Your continued trust is their capital. When they do this “both sides” shit, it’s smart to seek out better reporters who infuse their work with the American values you cherish. Trust them & only them.
