    Three fifths of people using homecare and 70% of people in care homes have dementia, meaning that people with dementia are the primary victims of a broken care system. The Govt must reform the system which see families paying £100,000 on average for specialist care.

    Earlier this month it came to light that the Home Office has been secretly using algorithms to process visa applications, making an already terrible system so much worse. The Home Office is broken, and urgent change is necessary.

    Last week, there were a number of incidents in Coventry, w/ a fatal stabbing. The Govt must do more to reduce crime that their cuts to police funding have caused. The urgency of this matter cannot be understated; people across the country are dying because of this Tory policy.

    Deeply concerned about the closure of the pancreatic unit at UHCW. I do not wish to see journey times increase for patients in my constituency and the surrounding areas who rely on this vital service. Thank you for raising this important issue last week.

    UHCW pancreatic unit is set to move to Birmingham. This will result in longer journey times for patients, an increase in the number of operations and treatments cancelled, and the risk of losing our best doctors if UHCW is downgraded to a district hospital as a result.

    I do not need to communicate the effects of the Govt's continuous cuts to police budgets. My constituents have felt the rise in crime in and across the country. Police are stretched to breaking point. The Govt must act quickly to reverse these devastating cuts.

    The Global Fund offers the UK a chance to be a world leader in eradicating HIV, TB and malaria by working with other countries and sharing knowledge. 27m lives have already been saved. The Govt must ensure that the Global Fund to fight HIV, TB and Malaria is fully funded.

    Was great to meet my term-time () MP today at the Day of Action, and hear he is ready to to support the replenishment of the and ensure we can end AIDS by 2030.

    South MP is concerned about the transfer of services from University Hospital (UHCW) in Coventry to Birmingham and Worcester. Watch him explore the issue in today's adjournment debate:

    At the beginning of May during I raised my concerns about the insecurity of free TV licenses for the over 75s. The Govt have done a great disservice to those who voted for them by reneging on their manifesto commitment that TV licenses would remain free for over 75s.

    There are two million pensioners living in poverty, and this number is rising. By providing free television licenses and bus passes to over-75s, we have helped some of the most vulnerable people in our society combat loneliness by providing a window to the world.

    This week is New research revealed that 1 in 3 unpaid carers are always or often lonely, compared with just 1 in 20 of the general population. I encourage individuals and organisations to get carers connected to support and ensure they feel valued and supported.

    Universal credit is still failing people and it is time for the Government to admit that it has failed. The chaos caused by universal credit's five-week wait for a full payment is leaving many people without enough money to cover the basics, forcing them to food banks

    I was delighted to see Coventry's campaigners outside parliament today to mark the first day of the judicial review into the handling of women's pensions. The Govt have refused to offer any compensation to these women despite the fact that some have lost out on <£40,000.

    The Govt must do more to ensure that rape crisis centres are available to every person that needs them. At a time when movements like have encouraged more sexual assault survivors to come forward, crisis centres are finding their resources stretched to breaking point. 1/2
