    I’ve talked to 10 people, most of them patients coming to the hospital for a check-up, and just one person said she doesn’t support the strike. Almost everyone think that medical workers have to resort to a strike because the govt isn’t providing enough support for them.

    Union leader Winnie Tam says more than 1000 medical workers have taken part in the strike as of 10:30am, and she expects more will follow in the afternoon. She says if the government doesn’t respond by 6pm today, they will mobilise another 6000 workers to join tomorrow’s action.
