What does meatspace mean?

It comes from cyberpunk, maybe Neuromancer. Humans are "bags of meat", therefore in real life they interact in meat spaces. This is to oppose with the cyberspace where the interaction is through information. So I think the more precise duality is carnality vs apotheosis.
