    The number of cars on American roads increased from 8,000 in 1900 to 8m in 1920. This growth rate (1000x increase over two decades) is exactly equivalent to Moore's law for transistors. But a century earlier! With products that weighed half a ton each!

    Agreed. I think most (models) haven’t even really got started yet. Particularly as the number of automated and agent based loops increase in importance in the systems we build.

    It doesn’t terminate it unless you are taking triple loop learning as a given. If you take the thing that triple loop was seeking to makes sense of and add modern cognitive and systems science then it gets interesting
