The people burning down cities didn’t build shit. How far back down the line of someone’s family tree do you have to go before a person stops being responsible for things their ancestors did. My ancestors were slaves in Jamaica, but I’m not claiming I was in the fields with them.

Yes. Of course some Blacks since then have done more significant building, but during the time of slavery that's more or less correct.
