If I was married for 73 years, I'd actually want to check out after losing the other half. It's all he knows. Hope he recovers, or at least doesn't suffer.

That made me tear up...on the darn subway

He was septic during his wife's funeral. OMG

So terribly
. My thoughts and prayers are with the Bush family. -
I would like to add for those of you that do not know, Sepis is a very serious blood infection. Patients are put on masses amount of anabiotic’s and that alone can cause A patient to become very sick. Even a 40-year-old has a very difficult time battling sepsis. Praying for him.

YES THEY CALL CODE BLUE HERE SEPSIS ALERT at the hospital very dangerous - immediate attention death if not treated
-
Stupid but how dose one catch or become infected with sepsis? Mr. Bush appeared alright other than sad at his wife's funeral.
-
No question is ever stupid. I’m not sure. He shook a number of hands the day of the funeral. All it takes is bacteria to enter the bloodstream. There is no doubt the health care expert’s are trying to figure out how he got this. Very sad.

I see it all the time working with the elderly. He’s
. He’s lost the love of his life. Let’s prepare for him to go be with his love. -
Im also an elder care giver and have seen it happen...sometimes passing within hours of each other.
-
I've seen it as well, and honestly, knew this would happen. He wants to be with his love in heaven. We should all be so lucky to love and be loved so much. Bless him, his beloved wife, and his family.
