FWIW, I just read the Douthat article, and the line of argument just seems based on the spurious assumption that distributing money and property is analogous to potential distribution of sex. But individual bodily autonomy is neither private property nor a public good.

Possibly, but if you were to buy the notion that distributing sex forcibly, whether it's overt or simply systematically punishing women who behave autonomously in ways that don't benefit men, might be okay because it's on the whole better for the health of men...

It seems like you'd also have to be okay with the notion that allowing women to punch some of these people in the face (or worse) might be better for women on the whole. If bodily autonomy is negotiable.
