      I dialed in my retraction settings (Simplify3D) to this: Distance: 4.00mm, Speed: 45mm/s. Working well.

      S3D has a cooling feature for small sections-- slows down so things can cool properly.

      Just readjusted my PID parameters with recommended values, but have not achieved world peace yet.

      I've not done the adjusted PID trick. Stock values ATM. 195C extruder and 40C bed.extruder swing is +-3C.

      I'm using 210C extruder, but also have -10C measured error.

      Not sure what my error is. Noticed the cat on the card set it 195C and that seems to work well. Stuck with it.

      Been using 210C based on random things on the Internet. Maybe if I lower it, I can eliminate big drool on retraction test?

      just got a mini! Using Cura too. I was doing PLA at 210C, moved to 205C and had a lot less stringing.
