@jfaulken I haven't performed any c64 repairs since the early '90s. I'm sure by now there's some kind of replacement chip for everything.
@flarb C64 question: I've got 2 breadbins that both have blown PLAs. What do you know about replacing them with burned EPROMs?

@flarb yeah, there's actually a pretty cool thing called a SuperPLA that's a tiny chip package on a little board. Might get one of those.
