After doing Gameboy games professionally 4 almost a decade it boggles my mind that people do GBjams. "Can I please be tortured by doin jam?"

@jfaulken I dont think it is at all. I think its about wanting to be a part of something most people weren't a part of.

@LavaLevel fair point. I just know that I’m happiest working in limited palettes and limited rez. but for guys our age it’s nostalgia too :)

@jfaulken Well most people aren't actually working under the GB constraints. They just turn it green. lol. Actual GB dev is 8x8 hellscape!!!

@LavaLevel I’ve got a demake for the zx spectrum that’s been going for like 2 years. grueling work but worth it in the end (i hope!)
