      I can point to several women and trans folks who have completely changed careers because they’ve been harassed out of video games. I can see the direct line from GG to the alt-right. I can’t find a single policy or reform to point to that’s a direct result of GG.

      What did the gamer gate/altright fascists discover with their experiments, you might ask? That it was trivially easy on the internet to dupe an army of men into parroting a nonsensical claim, AS LONG AS the claim was directed against someone from a marginalized group.

      In fact, they discovered, you could mobilize the duped army into actual action - harassing people, doxxing them, driving them from their homes - as long as the target was from a marginalized group.

      There was literally an FBI investigation(that found nothing) GG had entire groups dedicated to finding and reporting harassnent(which were sometimes opposition, but usually third parties) Try harder
