Can you all prove me wrong though? I bought an og xbox for jsrf and thought the game was broken.
ITEM COLLECTION is a game mechanic prevalent in a wide variety of games. That doesn’t make it a Banjo Kazooie clone.
Jet Set Radio is the only true ‘skating platforming’ game that exists. FUTURE removed joystick sprays so it could add quick tagging on hard to reach grinds.

The entire game itself is faster, controls better, is larger in scope, & more story driven than the first. Instead of a direct sequel a more ambitious choice was made to place things in an alternate universe. Now that’s what I call CREATIVE! So chill. You’ll be okay.

Of course it's in many games, I was mentioning one that focuses on movement options and has a wealth of different collectibles. But that doesn't change the fact that JSRF is not the same type of game. It's cool you all like it, doesn't mean it was better than that came before.

Why would removing tagging for a quick icon pick up be a positive? The games aren't even the best at "platforming" let alone handling controls. Ripping out the main hook to add a couple more levels with a bit more "futuristic" look is not a sequel I could get behind.
