I think it’s a similar reaction people have to jpop in general even though chibyo matto based in New York they stayed true to their origins Some people arnt accustomed to how Japanese vocals are often sung in a guteral punkish tone It’s just not sonically what their on to I gues

Personaly I don't like the song because the singer isn't singing. Their shouting half the lyrics.

See the only problem with that is you’re wrong

It's disjointed, chaotic, angry, exhausted, etc. And all of that is what makes me love it, good for whenever you're doing something that you just want to be done with.

The original song is really unique and I'd be lying saying I don't like it; but the censored in-game version kinda sucks

For me it's because the song is so blatantly obnoxious compared to the rest of the soundtrack it's my only immediate skip

Not a love, but definitely don't dislike. It's a mindset, if I'm in straight on jam mode, birthday cake is great. If I'm in for some musical appreciation, more nuanced shit, there's not as much there to go on.
